Product description
Rider Tyres Mud Extreme MT/R is a retreaded off-road tire for 4x4 and work vehicles, designed for driving in difficult conditions: mud, ruts, wet gravel and rocky routes. The massive, open tread helps with self-cleaning and provides strong traction off the asphalt, and the character of MT/R supports more stable behavior on harder surfaces than typical "clean" M/T.
The tread has large blocks and wide spacing, which facilitates self-cleaning - the tire does not become clogged with mud so easily and maintains traction longer. Pronounced shoulders help with lateral grip when turning in ruts and on slopes. The nature of MT/R means in practice that, apart from mud, the tire should also work well on harder sections (stones/packed soil), where the stability of the blocks and control are important.
What Extreme will not replace: on asphalt it means more noise, longer braking distances and faster wear than A/T. For mainly on-road driving, choose a different tread.
