This policy explains what data we process on rider-tyres.eu, why we process it, and what rights individuals have under data protection law.

2. Data we process
The website is an informational B2B service. We do not operate online sales, customer accounts, checkout, or online payments through the website.
We process data voluntarily provided by e-mail or phone, in particular name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, and inquiry content.
We also process basic technical data connected with using the website, such as IP address, visit date and time, URL, browser data, device information, server logs, and cookie preference records.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data only when we have a lawful basis under the GDPR.
- Handling inquiries and B2B contact: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where contact is connected with a contract or pre-contractual steps, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where we respond to an inquiry under our legitimate interest.
- Security, maintenance, and diagnostics of the website: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Establishing, pursuing, or defending claims: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Compliance with legal obligations, where applicable: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Optional statistical analytics after consent: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
4. Recipients and providers
Data may be shared with providers of technical services, hosting, website maintenance, e-mail services, analytics tools, IT support, legal or accounting advisers, and authorities entitled to receive data under the law.
The website uses Vercel infrastructure, including Vercel Blob/CDN to deliver media files and downloadable materials as a necessary part of website operation. After consent to statistical cookies, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Vercel Web Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights may be activated. Google Maps is loaded only after clicking the show-map button.
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we apply safeguards required by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision where applicable or standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention period
Inquiry data is stored for the time needed to handle correspondence and then for up to 12 months, unless longer storage is necessary for legal claims or required by law.
Technical logs are stored for the period necessary for website security and diagnostics, generally no longer than 12 months.
Cookie preferences are stored for the period indicated in the Cookie Policy or until the user changes their settings.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, transfer data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
Requests may be sent to contact@rider-tyres.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
7. Voluntary provision of data
Providing data in correspondence is voluntary, but it may be necessary to answer an inquiry or prepare B2B commercial information.
Technical data is processed to the extent necessary for proper and secure operation of the website.
8. Profiling and automated decisions
We do not make decisions about users based solely on automated processing that would produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect them.
We do not use the website for advertising profiling of users.
